HSS/DMo5 – AISI M2 – DIN 1.3343

HIGH SPEED STEEL WITH TUNGSTEN-MOLYBDENUM

These elements contain high mechanical characteristics maintaining an excellent toughness. Molybdenum (Mo), present in 5%, reduces notably the brittleness, favors the formation of a very fine martensitic grain, increases the limit of fatigue and consequently the mechanical resistance, obtaining an improvement of the cutting characteristics. Tungsten (W), present in 6,4%, produces hard carbides; it contributes to improve the blade toughness preventing the grain growth. It increases the tensile strength and above all the wear resistance to the high working temperatures, improving cutting performances. Vanadium is also present (V) in 1,9%, which makes the grain thinner allowing the formation of hard carbides that improve the wear resistance.

HSS/Co5% – AISI M35 – DIN 1.3243

HIGH SPEED STEEL WITH TUNGSTEN-MOLYBDENUM AND COBALT

Different from DMo5 due to higher cobalt presence (5%). Cobalt (Co) is an element that reduces the grain growth at high temperatures, so the presence of this element gives to the steel a high seal cutting and hardness. This steel grade is fundamental when they have to cut materials such as stainless steel or with high mechanical resistance, that generate high temperatures at the contact point.

HSS DMo5/Co5 Circular saw blade "VAPO"

This process produces a layer of iron oxide (Fe3O4) on the blade surface which improves the sliding between cutting material and the blade.

S1000: Steam treated Co5

HSS DMo5/Co5 Circular saw blade "TIN"

The Titanium nitride coating gives to the blade a great surface hardness (2200-2400 HV) and allow it to work at cutting and feed speed faster than 50%

Medium alloyed steels, hard steels, furniture tube, sections in general, mixed steel-plastic components, biomedical sector. Suitable for static and fly cutting machines. According to the application is possible to choose the appropriate type of blade:
A/C2000: Steam treated DMo5
S2000: Steam treated Co5

HSS DMo5/Co5 Circular saw blade "TICN"

Multi-layer coating with surface hardness of 3000-3300 HV and very low friction coefficient that allows cutting with an excellent finish. The great surface hardness of the blade allow to work with cutting speed 100% higher.
COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION: 0,21
Optimized for tubes and solids, hard steels with a resistance up to 800N/ mm2, stainless steels, aeronautic alloys, aluminium and its alloys, copper
According to the application is possible to choose the appropriate type of blade:
C3000: TiCN DMo5 (M2)
S3000: TiCN Co5 (M35)

HSS DMo5/Co5 Circular saw blade "TIALN"

This coating (aluminium and titanium nitride) gives to the blade a surface hardness of 3400 HV, this allow to work with cutting and feed speed 60% higher.
The low coefficient of friction allows the blade to be used with excellent results even in conditions of minimal lubrication

Optimized for solid and tubes, hard steels up to 1100N/mm2, stainless steels and cast iron on static and fly cutting machines. According to the application is possible to choose the appropriate type of blade

This coating (aluminium, titanium nitride and Crome) gives to the blade a surface hardness of 3800 HV, this allow to work with cutting and feed speed 80% higher.The low coefficient of friction allows the blade to be used with excellent results even in conditions of minimal lubrication
